Conde Lucifo
Conde Lucifo by J.R. Silva Illustrated by National Artist Jose Joya and Telie Rodolfo Aliwan Comix September 1 1951
Steve, Si Joya, nag-komiks din? Saan lupalop mo nadiskubre ito? Mayroon din akong gawang komiks noon, I can't remember the publication. Thanks for sharing this. And Happy New Year. Rod Samonte
Steve, Good to hear from you. Ha? Si Ola may komiks din? Do you happen to have a picture of that visit? Oo, nagbabasketball ka pa ata. May komiks din ako, I guess many artists wanted to do that at start their art career that way, since it was the most visible art media, wala pang mga galleries noon, except sa Mabini. But you won't be able to find my komiks, I can't even remember the publication. It was a really small, fledgling publication near UST (not Miranda). Then, I also signed my name as Troy Samonte, hahaha. Sikat kasi noon si Troy Donahue. It was probably published around 1963. By the way, you can also email me directly at rodolfo.samonte@gmail.com Rod

Thanks Rod. Si Romulo Olazo i-ipost ko rin ang gawang komiks niya. Tandaan ko magkasama kayo nagpunta sa bahay noon around Mid 70s
